Elementary Opportunity Program

We have always taught an introductory tennis program to 4th and 5th grade students at schools in the Creighton School District. We teach basic tennis and life skills (responsibility, attendance, sportsmanship) to young students. We designed this program because of the high mobility rate of students changing schools.

We are expanded the the program to 14 weeks in 2011-12. There is more time for a life skills aspect and tennis instruction. We are using more Quick Start and Rally Ball methodologies.

Thank you for the wonderful partnership Creighton School District!

Paiute Park Life Skills

In 2004, El Centro De la Familia, an alcohol and drug abuse prevention program for teens, wanted to give their kids a program that would build leadership skills plus be a reward for their participation in their program.

It has been a journey as both the instructors and students have had to work on the concept of "excellence" together.

In 2012, all six of our remaining kids will be required to volunteer at local community organizations to display prper servant-leadership skills to younger children.

High School Program

As PASS evolves, our heart wants to continue teaching programs at Camelback High School but our manpower will not allow us to at this time. We still want to support students in this district.

Thanks to generous donations from The Village Racket Club, All About Tennis and supporters. PASS intends on giving all ten Phoenix Union School District schools a package of at least 10 assorted new / high-end refurbished rackets and 300-400 gently used tennis balls so their teams and can start the season properly equipped.

That is 100 rackets and nearly 4,000 tennis balls!
